Great tasting rice easy to prepare just as described. I just cooked it up and added some butter and a little salt and it was absolutely delicious. It did not cook up right! It was hard in places and I followed all the instructions on the cook in bag! I think this was an old one cause it tells you to breakup the rice before you cook it and it was hard to do! Walmart, allot of your GV Brands are very hard to open!

So here's the problem - yes, the Great Value 9 second Jasmine Rice overall taste her better than the now expensive brands but it's so inconsistent that I stopped taking the chance. 1 week it might be the best tasting Jasmine Rice I've had! then the next pack you purchase might not even be edible! Such a significant inconsistenty it's concerning when it comes to quality control!
