Very fun game, easy to learn

This game revolves around trapping your opponent with different element stones. Each element stone has different attributes (water runs, fire spreads, earth grows, wind blows) and can be replaced by a different element via the classic water, fire, earth, wind element cycle. What really makes this game interesting is when playing more than two players, you are assigned your opponent so there is no ganging up. You have to trap your opponent and if you “help” trap a different opponent, the person who was assigned that opponent wins the game. No last man standing, first to trap their assigned opponent wins. That's just in the core game. This boxed set also includes the silver expansion with three more elements. Only one of the new elements (represented by silver stones hence the name) is played at a time but they all play differently and offer more strategy to the game in the form of lightning, wood, and metal (my favorite) elements. The board looked used and weathered but then I realized it's supposed to look ancient and the four included figures look like beautifully carved historic stone figures. This game is so simple to learn if you watch the 5 minute tutorials out there and after owning it for two weeks, I've lost track of how many games we have played. This will be a Christmas gift to a few friends and other friends after playing it have already placed their orders for it. If you love the classic elements philosophy and especially if you love Avatar, the Last Airbender this game is a must have.
