Amazing Book

I was given this book as a gift. I'm not one for murder mysteries, but I was sucked in by the first couple of pages. I was attached to the main character, Mary, and I wasn't expecting the ending. The amount of frustration and put in corner situations these characters go through is equally entertaining. This book is easily one of my favorite thrillers.

Fantastic

I bought this book back when it came out, and I've been passing it along ever since. Everyone that has picked it up has given me the same reviews. The book was amazing. Hands down. The twist ending left me wanting more.

Don't bother

The story and characters are trite. There's no development of characters. The story progresses in far too quick a manner. Leaving the library on page 1 and in chains by page 5? At no point did I feel any connection to Mary. The cops are so stereotypical, it's a bit funny. I'm an ardent reader and I was so excited when I got a book by a local woman as a gift. It took me over a month to drudge through the drivel between covers.
