The pH plus helps to keep your pool water at the proper pH range (7.2 - 7.6) when it needs a boost. This pH plus neutralizes acidic water, eliminates corrosion, and improves the effectiveness of chlorine. Not only can the Rx Clear pH Plus be used with standard chlorine pools, but it's also able to be used with spas and salt water pools. The product prevents corrosion of metal surfaces such as light fixtures, railings, ladders, screws, pool cover components, pool heater components, and metals in your pump or filter. It also prevents etching, pitting, and delamination of concrete, plaster, gunite, shotcrete, and fiberglass pools. This product will quickly correct acidic water conditions in your pool or spa. It will slow the rapid dissipation of chlorine caused by acidic water, which will help reduce eye irritation or redness, and is soft on the skin, helping to reduce itchy or irritated skin after swimming. Use 1-2 lbs. for every 10,000 gallons until pH reaches the proper level.
