Lumber U-Head for Light-Duty Steel Shores

The Lumber U-Head for Light Duty Steel Shores worked perfectly with my light-duty steel shores. I am using four Ellis steel shores with "Lumber U-Head" heads to provide permanent support to rotting 6" x 6" P.T. posts that hold up my 28' x 8' porch on my Adirondack cabin. Will definitely use again and recommend to others.

Very pleased

The U head and steel shores worked great! Very pleased. I especially appreciate the customer service. I mistakenly ordered heavy duty U heads and light duty shores. I got an email letting me know they would be switching to the light duty U head and refunding me the difference. Most places wouldn’t do that.

Settling Deck

We have a rear yard deck on a creek slope that began sinking due to excessive rainy winter along termite damaged pillars and also with an undersized footing combined with poor drainage. So we build replacement footings and put an adjustable Ellis jack in to support the main deck beam as seen in the pictures. We not only we able to re level our deck but we have the ability to make slight adjustments easily over time should the enlarged footings settle slight. Thanks for building a great product.
