I ordered according to the size chart,,tried it on when it got here and could have easily ordered one size lower,the 2 X fits very big even if I wore a heavy sweater underneath it would still have lots of room,fits more like maybe a 3-4 X ,but I need a coat it's getting colder and I don't want to wait to return and reorder a smaller size
