Battery Testing Tips
You can test rechargeable batteries or standard alkaline with the BT-
168 battery tester. Be aware that rechargeable batteries are a little
lower voltage (1.2V) even fully charged compared to alkaline batteries
(1.5V). They'll operate well even when reading yellow or on the low
end of the green. When testing, always make sure the negative
terminal is positioned near the T-arm on the device. Button batteries
will indicate the negative end.
