The "brass" look is actually a very shiny gold color and was noticeable and elegant on my mantle holding the stockings. Great weight and balance to hold your stockings (mine are heavy, crocheted and embroidered stockings) and easy to use, store, and maintain. They are a bit pricey in my opinion but they are the best version on the market as well

These stocking holders are perfect! They are elegant yet unobtrusive and do not distract from the "balance" of your mantle decor; a perfect combination of form and function. Their cleverly engineered design allows them to hold a fully stuffed stocking without worry; Your mileage may vary, but I've never had one fail/fall. I bought these to supplement some I had purchased many years ago from who knows where. Was so happy to find them on the Walmart site! They are very close to what I already owned, if not identical.
