How to use your 2.5” triangular prism

1. Tack a white paper or canvas to a wall. Make sure it is flat and smooth to capture the rainbow.
2. Set the paper or canvas across the room from a sunny window or use a flashlight if no window is available.
3. Hold the prism in front of your paper/canvas, make sure it catches light from the window (if using sunlight).
4. If using flashlight, hold prism with non dominate hand and the flashlight in your dominant hand. Turn on flashlight and hold in the light beam towards your paper/canvas.
5. Twist and turn the prism in your light source. The light should fall on the paper/canvas.
6. Turn the prism until a corner of the triangle falls into the light beam.
7. Light should refract through prism and create a rainbow on your surface.
