Great for cost. Needs better instructions.

It took me 3 months to figure out how to properly get this to fit to the door. Honestly, I'm educated and I felt ridiculous. It's just a pet gate for us but such a great price, we kept at it and once I got it, it's great and we love it! My husband cut a mini entrance one on side so our little dog can come and go out of her “room” so it's perfect!

I want others to know that I bought this to keep our dog and puppy contained in a certain part of the house; our rugrats are approaching middle age and it would never keep them contained. But, it seems like it would also keep a child contained, because the locking mechanism for the bar would be too much for them to release. The plastic seems sturdy enough to keep both pets and kids safe and secure.

This gate is not as pictured in all but one photo on the site. it shows the original stand by gate with the metal clamp. that is what i ordered BUT I received this crappy new fanfled plastic design that is hard to figure out and use. I wanted what was in the pictures , well 4 out of the 5 pictures. just be aware the item that you receive is not what is pictured. except for the one close up of the plastic closure. Inaccurate discription photo's.
