What is a Mil? "Mil" is the plastic thickness. 4 Mil = .004", thicker than a standard freezer bag and excellent for heavy duty applications.
Are the bags food safe? Yes! Because our flat bags are made from virgin LDPE (low density polyethylene), they meet FDA requirements for food contact and storage, and are BPA-Free.
