Used to have the kind that slipped over the sprayer top %26 it seemed what I did - it either took the top off or sprayed at me (Some colors don't look well on me either! JS).. Not good either way, so I purchased these that pinch together to go over the top of the sprayer with ease. No more getting sprayed nor the tops popping off!

The sprayers seem like they should hould up for multiple cans of paint. I got them to use on painting some large plastic boxes, and it's so much easier on the hands for a large project than pushing the little sprayer on the can of paint.
