Excellent product

Ordered this for my LS7 starter. The two predrilled holes are perfect. But the starter has an additional 7pt bolt on rear cover. Had to cut a small hole to clear those. Easy stuff. And had to straighten the cover a little to clear the wire bundle above starter.

good part at fair price

bought this heat shield to use on a powermax mini starter knowing it was not designed for that starter but figuring i would find a way to make it work and i did... took about an hour to modify it to fit and am very happy with the results... i like the double aluminum layers with the insulation sandwiched between... looks way better than the little 'universal fit' foil blankets... and for less $$....

Great Fit!

Bought this for my 2008 c6 z06 stock starter and it worked great! I just had to bend the tab at the gear side of the starter and build a small l-bracket to attach to the starter to make it more stable. Looks amazing over that ugly starter and will work great behind my Stainless Works 2"" primary Headers.
