good for small tasks. i want to polish stones but dont want to "suit up" in a respirator and heavy gloves as you should with larger items with more dust...i will still use a mask and water to avoid that .. havent had it long enough to get a finished polish ; may even get a tumbler to speedup process.

Works great for projects!

I had installed peel and stick tile in my kitchen without a rotary tool, and it was difficult and made my cuts more jagged. I ordered this for a peel and tick tile project for my bathroom, and it works perfectly! It has a number of extensions, and the small metal cutting wheel has been exactly what I need. I've been able to make precise cuts, and the tiles around the outlets look professionally-done. I don't know how well it'd work on anything thicker (it shuts off when it hits too much resistance on the highest setting, I assume for safety), but I'm happy with it!
