Linon Levi Twin over Twin Wood Bunk Bed, 80.47"L x 41.89"W x 67.48"H, Espresso

I was looking for a white sturdy twin bunk bed. After returning another model from a different seller because it was cracked right out of the box, I gave this one a chance because it appeared to be stronger with specified higher capacity. The box was delivered in a pretty messy condition, but none of the parts were damaged. I like the solid wood legs, they are basically 4x4 wood posts, very sturdy. The main beams supporting cross bars are not simply hanging on the bolts, they are sitting in a notched recess at the face of posts. That makes it a lot stronger than most bunk beds in which the beams are hanging on pins and bolts instead of sitting in a notch. The assembly was a bit time consuming, but nothing that I did not expect or could not handle. I only had one issue with one of the ladder legs, in which the hole wasn't pre-drilled large enough for a decent size screw. When I started forcing the screw in a small hole, it splitter the wood at the surface of the ladder. I used a drill to make the hole slightly larger so that the screw could make its way in. Most of the assembly I did myself. You definitely need help to set the assembled upper bed on top of lower one. The bunk feels very sturdy, it looks ok, but has some minor flaws in the white paint, but something that is probably hard to avoid when painting solid wood. I would definitely recommend this product.
