This abdominal pad works to maintain an environment conducive to healing. It is highly absorbent and is suitable to use as a primary or secondary dressing. The 8 in x 10 in abdominal pad is suitable for a heavily draining wound, with the outer layer offering maximum protection to the affected area. Designed with a soft, non-woven outer layer and an absorbent cellulose inner layer, the sterile abdominal pad allows maximum drainage. Each one is individually packed in sterile, peel-back pouch to avoid cross contamination. The extra-absorbent abdominal pad is sealed on both sides to reduce linting and help minimize the risk of fibers being left behind in the wound bed.
