Beautiful blend

These pencils are wonderfully pigmented and blend together well. They remind me of prismacolors, and I am really enjoying the feel of them against the paper. The color payout is good and I am very pleased with the results I have achieved with these pencils.

Not as expected ruined a piece I was completing

I was led to believe these would not reactivate once dry. I used them on a small piece as a test thank goodness as they were a runny mess. I let the piece dry 3 days and then coated it with matte medium and presto smears of colors ruined everything. So don't buy these unless you are not planning on additional layers of anything near them.

2.22.23 Update: We are sorry to hear the results you are receiving with Inktense. When the product was first developed, the pencils were tested by a panel of independent artists, who confirmed the claim of the fully dispersed washouts being permanent when dry. To create this permanent wash with the pencils , all pigment from the colouring or the light swatch of colour used on your mixing palette, must be dispersed, allowing no undispersed pigment to remain. Once this is fully washed out and then dry, the light wash product will be permanent to use water or other colours over the top.
