Ocala Anise in 3 Gal. Grower's Pot - Licorice Scented Privacy Hedges

The Yellow Ocala Anise is a perfect option as a low maintenance privacy hedge! This large shrub, or small tree depending on how you prune it, is an evergreen shrub that grows to about 10-16 feet tall and 6-10 feet wide. The Ocala Anise features elliptical shaped leaves that’ll give off the scent of anise when crushed. During the spring you may see olive green flowers, followed by licorice scented star-shaped seedpods. The leaves and seedpods are not edible. Because of its natural conical shape, the plant doesn’t require much pruning and is great for shady areas. The Yellow Ocala Anise is great for giving dense privacy as a hedge, and can even provide great protection from the wind as a windbreak!
