Makes great permanent potting soil

I bought this soil after reading how to make permanent soil that will not decompose over time. You slowly mix in 8 bags of decomposed granite. I used Vigoro. I used this mix for all my potted plants and raised beds. The top 1-2” is composted soil with fertilizer.

Great Value for quality growing mix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this to be a great value for a large amount of planting soil. I consider myself an amateur gardener and mostly do raised garden bed and plants and herbs in pots so this soil worked very well for me. I was able fill a variety of pots and still have a ton left over for my raised gardening beds. The herbs I planted early in the season seem to be thriving! The bag isn't the easiest to move, but once opened the growing mix easily fluffed up. With the air added into the soil, ability to control PH and moisture controls it's a great soil for any level gardener.

New for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not seen this potting mix available locally so I was eager to try a ‘professional' blend! It was free from sticks/twigs and arrived at a perfect time to up pot my seedlings while they continue to harden off. I'll be using the rest for pots containing annuals. Very pleased with this one!
