Better than average

Although Brailowsky was more daring in his youth, these late recordings demonstrate his excellent technique... for example the lefthand's "strumming chords" on Waltz 64-3 are evocative of a guitar accompaniment. This type of nuance was prevelant in the glor days of Chopin playing (late 20's to 40's) and is rarely heard with modern players.
