I purchased this ice melt because it is recommended by the company I purchased my aluminum handicap ramp from. The ice melt does not rust the ramp. I also love that I don't have to worry about it rusting my car. It melts ice in very cold weather.

The only reason that I gave "Ice" and "Quality" three stars is that I haven't had an occasion yet to use the product. I live in Charlotte, NC, and early in 2026, we got the most snow in nearly 22 years, plus a couple of ice storms. I couldn't find a de-icer anywhere. But Walmart came through with both availability and price. It arrived in just a matter of days.
