Worth trying once to see if you like it

Too spicy for me - edible but not as enjoyable as traditional. Seafood flavors are mild and subtle, no point in drowning them out with too many spices. I like to gently cook up some small or diced scallops in the pan before adding my clam chowder, since there is never enough clams and the scallops cook very fast. 1.5 ounces of scallops cost less than adding a can of clams but they still compliment the flavors and textures. And, gotta have some oyster crackers on top!
