I got this like a week ago and have been using it everyday since. Very nice, lightweight, and many stations. Works with or without batteries. Can change volumes and you can plug in a headset as well. This one you can't fit in a purse or pocket but it's like the size of a laptop or a regular boombox. I was able to figure it out without the manual! Can be VERY loud or very very quiet.

I purchased this radio for a person who has difficulty hearing. The radio has a knob allowing you to change the tone from low to high. On high it sounds super crisp and clear. They love it, and I'm impressed. I'm also surprised by the reception. The radio this one replaced needed the antenna fully extended to pick up a FM radio station 30 miles away, but this radio can pick it up clearly with the antenna not extended.

It's hard to go wrong

You know, it's hard to find an ordinary radio anymore. I got this one because I like to listen to programs when I'm working outside, and it replaces one that I was holding together with duct tape. Also, our local drive-in distributes sound on an FM frequency. The compact shape will really be good for that application. For 25 bucks, it's hard to go wrong.
