Unearthed (DVD)

This is a tight, well-crafted existential horror film. What is interesting is that in the end of the movie, the extraterrestrial creature (the bad) and the woman (the good) both kill each other, effectively eliminating both bad and good. With the absence of victors, and the absence of good and bad, the philosophical concept is a dead zone of chaos. There are no questions to be asked when both forces are dead. Interesting approach put into a workable film format. Russell Means turns in one of his most enjoyable acting roles to date. The cast is good and the movie has a unique style to it with its emphasis on absence of light and night scenes. Enjoyable horror flick!
