Noble House by Jame Clavel

This was as good as the book. James Clavel is my all time favorite writer and I loved the book. I have now ordered out Tai-Pan so I have the whole story. Pierce Brosnan is everything you expect from a Tai-Pan and does an excellent job in the roll.

"A Modern day Tai-Pan"

The actors are extremely good.The history of tai-pans is really interesting.Set in Hong Kong before China resume ownership.It has espionage,murder , attempts at hostile takeover,deception and financial crises.
