We bought minnie & mickey for our family Christmas decoration. They stand up perfectly. We use them inside our home the fireplace. I would not recommend them for outside because the material would probably get faded and it's a very soft material just like their stuffed animals that you would purchase in the store and if it was a little bit windy they would probably fall over.
