Due to the higher MERV 10 rating value, it holds more Micro Dust Particles, Lint, Mold, Pollen, Debris, Dust Mites compare to MERV 8 air filters available in the market. ALL the Glasfloss Furnace Air Filters are rigorously tested under ANSI/ASHRAE 52.2 test procedures for MERV rating value 10, 11 & 13 respectively. The Glasfloss Furnace Air Filters are classified per UL Standard 900 for flammability requirement and maximum operating temperature limit is 180F (82C). The Glasfloss V-Pleats design increase the surface area of contact with Air Flow hence collect maximum Micro Dust Particles, Lint, Molds, Bacteria, Pollen and Debris. It offers less resistance to air flow which save in energy cost and increases AC unit life. A heavy duty, galvanized, recycled expanded metal reinforcement which is laminated to the air filters exit side of the media by Thermosetting Adhesive to maintain the structural integrity of the radial pleats.
