I have long, thin, straight hair about halfway down my back. I have been trying heatless curling devices for a few years now with no luck. Either my hair would slip out, get caught on rough edges leading to damage, never long enough to hold one entire strand length, time consuming with little to no payout as far as getting a good curl. This design is perfect in everyway! It is one extra long piece of foam, covered by a smooth satin material that is held in place on the very top center of your head by the included large claw clip. It is best to work with just slightly damp hair with an added touch of styling product(a light hair spray or mousse works great!). Start from the top on one side and start wrapping your hair in slightly overlapping sections , then secure with the included satin scrunchie. Repeat the same process on the other side. There was still another 8" left on both sides after i had all of my hair wrapped, so this product is made for the longest hair! It comes with a second foam roller, so if you have thicker hair you can use one closer to the front and use the second to wrap your hair further back. I have slept with the single roller comfortably and my hair stayed in place the entire night(i have long, one length hair so the single scrunchie on each side was all i needed. If you have shorter sections/layers, they have also included black hair bands to further secure your hair to the roller. Be sure your hair is completely dry before removing the foam roller for strong curls that will last all day. For softer waves and added body, you can just leave out any added product before you began. This has been the best experience ever for heatless, healthy curls that last and the process was so easy!! *Long haired girl approved!!
