I suffer from Alpha-gal syndrome and a vitamin D deficiency. My doctor prescribed me some super doses of Vitamin D. I ended up having an allergic reaction to them. Come to find out, the majority of Vit D are made with sheep lanolin and mammalian products. I searched for vegan vit D I found Mary Ruths. I used it every other day for a month. My doctor re tested my D levels. I went from very deficient to just deficient. I'm about 6 points away from normal. He said to double up the dose and what ever I'm doing is working. ☺
