Ignore the negative reviews.

It was exactly as expected. Been using different brands of weedblock for years. People complaining about not being the width that they purchased didn't open the box. The manufacturer folds the material in half prior to rolling it up. Simple as that. You are get exactly what you paid for. Any negative views based on getting a box that wasn't the full length of what was purchase, should be deleted. This is based strictly on those reviewers assuming that they didn't receive what they purchased. I usually don't give reviews on other reviews. But, in this caes, they were wrong and the manufacturer and sellers shouldn't have to be penalized for the incompetence of others.

AN EXCELLENT CHOICE hard to FRAY/UNRAVEL

I really LIKE the thickness and QUALITY of this 4.1 OZ FABRIC! It does not FRAY/COME UNRAVELED as previous fabric purchases I've made and used from other sources. While it may cost more per foot than the 3OZ cheaper fabrics, . . it is WORTH paying more for this. One concern: It is NOT "6 FEET WIDE" as advertised and on my shipping info. It is only 5 FEET WIDE on the roll that I received. However, I plan to order another roll at that price, even if it has only been 5 FEET WIDE all along, and the seller made an 'honest mistake.' It is still worth it IMO.

Great Time Saver!

I am constantly looking for things to simplify my life and this product does just that. I have ordered it many times and I have covered many areas on my farm that are a nuisance to mow or weed eat. I also use it to prevent weeding in my garden. I use my tiller to till up the soil, then I hill it up and then cover it with this weed barrier. Next I cut small holes for my plants and then I just water them as needed. No more weeding! Things like melons, squash, and cucumbers will lay right on top of the fabric and I do not have near the bug issues and my produce stays out of the dirt. I use fabric staples and even though it is light weight, I have never had it blow loose and you can mow right over the edges with a lawnmower. In my orchard, I add watering tubes and sometimes I run drip irrigation right up to my blueberry, grape and blackberry plants. The best thing about this product is that I just leave it down over winter and just replant in the same spots the next spring. This is instrumental in reducing overall time and costs. I have only used this product for 3 years but it has stood up well despite the heat and winds here in East Texas. The price and durability makes this product a good purchase for the consumer. I have not been compensated for my review of this product, so my statements are my own true words.
