It's actually very difficult for me to find bright colors in socks that are not either no-shows or so tight around the leg that they leave cut marks. I'm not a really large person, I'm 5' 4" and about 135 and most ankle and crew socks leave a muffin top of calf where they end. These are PERFECT. Very soft, very stretchy and when I remove them at the end of the day, my legs don't look like I was held hostage and tied to a radiator. For me, the fact that they are not super thin works in my favor. I like to wear Crocs knockoffs and with my stupid, flat, skinny feet, I need a sock that has more body than a dress sock. These serve that nicely. I do have to say that my favorite socks for comfort and perfect fit are Muk Luks socks, but in my experience, there are no brights, only pastels and neutral colors. Well, I have all of those, including the pastels with the sparkly threads, but no brights or neons. If Muk Luks made those colors, I'd buy theirs, but since they don't, these will serve me quite well, I'm sure. I am going to assume that they will launder well, since I never put socks in the dryer. Should they NOT launder well, I will edit my review to include that information, but for now I'm just really happy to have these brilliant colors in the right weight!
