Champ

The Champ is what I learned to fly on. It's a wonderfully easy and rugged plane. I re-re-re-re-repaired it so many times due to sudden impact trauma. I flew indoors in a warehouse for the most part. A little known fact about polymer foams is that they are attracted to steel poles. Anyway it's an easy flyer and easy to repair and the fuselage did it's job. The only reason I replaced the fuselage is that the CG changed enough with all the repairs to merit a new body.

I love my Champ! But you might want to consider calling it "The Phoenix" This is the plane that started my intrest (additicon???) in RC Flying... Like an earlier poster, my original Champ fuse had been repaired so-so-so many times that the CG was way out of wack... Purchased this fuse, wing and tail assm. I know have a completely resurected Champ i.e. (From the ashes a new plane emerges) When people ask me about the Champ when I am flying at the local parks I tell them, this is the BEST Toy that I ever got. But it is the most expensive $90 you will ever spend, because once you fly this little thing you WILL be hooked, and you will come to know the people at your LHS by thier first name.
