Michael Harding is the best.

I have tried several brands of oil paint and now I have settled on using Michael Harding oils only. Yes, they are more expensive, but the pigment load is much greater than other brands that I have used. Thus Michael Harding oil paint will go much further. These paints are great and this brand is the only that I buy now.

Hits the spot!

A pricey yellow, but oh so luminous. I read about its interesting history in The Secret Lives of Color, with the pigment first appearing around 1300, lost around 1750, and then rediscovered in 1941, used for those lovely, post-Renaissance, Rubens grapefruit hose and silk doublets. I was compelled to try it and am delighted. Comes in light and dark.

Thanks for the freebie! Really excited to try it.

A must have for portraits. MH holds the line on quality. So far I've experimented mixing violets and blues and reds. Really loving how the paint handles. Thanks for the extra tube of interference acrylic. Really interesting new product Jerry threw in as a freebie. I have a couple acrylic commissions I can try it out on.
