This dress looks just like it's advertised. It's true to size. My 8 yr old is about average height and the dress goes past her knees. It's a modest length. My daughter loves the way it feels. The shirt (top) part has a very soft feel, whereas the bottom portion of the dress feels like a bed sheet. Also, this dress is a pullover dress. No zippers or anything. There are three buttons on the shirt part. Overall, my daughter and I love the dress.
