true blackout

I received this Sun Zero 2-pack Kenzie Trellis Jacquard Blackout Curtain Panel Pair free from Walmart Spark Reviewer. I have bought a few different blackout curtains and these are great. They really do work. I put these up to my patio slider that faces the east so early morning I get a lot of hot sunshine. It used to make my living room very hot even with my other blackout curtains. I don't have that problem now. These sun zero really do work. This pair just fit across my sliders. I could use another panel or wider ones but i could fit them to another window. I just wanted to try them out on a window that has very intense heat coming thru. I love them and think they would also benefit me in the winter to keep out the cold too. I would recommend these sun zero curtains to anyone that needs to keep out the sun.

Wow, Really Blocks out the Light

The Sun Zero Black Out Curtains are pretty and serviceable. They don't require any fancy equipment for hanging them, just a regular (or decorative if you wish) curtain rod. They do recommend “for proper fullness, fabric should measure approximately 2-3 times the width of your window”. These are 100% polyester fabric. They can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and, if necessary, dried in the dryer on low. I haven't had a chance to put these curtains up as yet. I have held them up to the sunlight and, they do indeed, block out the light. They have a pretty pattern on them. The color is like charcoal grey with a lighter grey pattern. I would definitely recommend these curtains.

Really are blackout curtains

I was going to use the panels in my living room but the pattern was too heavy to match the lighter tone I have in the room. The pattern is lovely, it doesn't carry over to every décor. The way my apartment is situated either you get blasted by light in the morning in the front or in the afternoon in the back. Since I couldn't use them in the front, I used them in the back of the apartment. I used the curtains in my daughter's room to cover the window and door to the balcony outside her room. We live in an apartment so I couldn't use the decorative rods that were called for, so I just used plain old regular curtain rods since that was what I already had hanging there and to be honest it's still looks good. The set of curtains we had in my daughter's room said blackout but they let so much light in during the day she hated it. I mean she basically has one big wall that's a window. These are really black out curtains. Even in the middle of the day when the sun is directly shining on the window very little light gets through. I paired the panels with some plain black curtains I had that weren't being used and the look was great with the black in the center and the patterns on the end. My daughter loves it.
