With some pool products, it is hard to determine if they are 'working' or not. If you have a pool light, turn it on after dark with your pool pump running, preferably after a day of significant pool use. Take notice of the clarity/cloudiness of your water. Add this non-chlorine shock per instructions especially around the lighted area. Come back to the pool 20-30 minutes later. You will likely see a clearer pool.
