Swazi Candles, Tea Light Candle - Leopard bamboo design, including Soya tea light

Swazi Candles are handcrafted by African artisans using a Millefiore (meaning thousand flowers) glass bead inspired technique, adapted and perfected for candle making. Swazi Candle artisans apply beautiful & colourful patterns to the outer shell of the candle using a hard wax veneer. As the candle burns the soft inner core creates a translucent lens that allows the light to spread through the entire candle enabling the exterior patterns to glow as the candle burns. Normal burning time is 45 hours, but the candle can be re-used by placing a votive or tea light inside the wax veneer outer shell to prolong their life indefinitely. Their Philosophy of Swazi Candles is to create unique handmade candles of exceptional quality in a happy working environment. Today the candles are world famous, and each is still made in Swaziland, now called Eswatini and finished by hand and no two are the same. Swazi Candles believe strongly in the principles of Fair Trade and are founding members of SWIFT (Swaziland Fair Trade Association).
