Great sound - not tinny. Solid earbuds

Surprised by the good sound. Immediately when I put the first bud in my ear I could tell they had a very balanced sound - not too much treble and enough bass. My previous earbuds were JBL 225's and I had to adjust the equalizer on my Media Monkey app to get them to sound balanced. Even then they didn't have enough bass for a balanced sound. These TT-BH080's sound excellent. I've used $100 wired buds that sounded much tinnier (worse) and there was nothing I could do to equalize the sound. They fit comfortably. I think I wore them for an hour last night and my ears started to get fatigued, but I think that is good for something new in my ears. I like the touch controls although I don't think there is a control to mute the microphone, which would be very useful. I tried the 'ok TT' voice commands and they are an interesting touch. They seem to work. It would be odd if they had an 'ok tt mute the mic' command so I haven't tried that. I do tend to be careful around my ears because I don't want to accidentally cause a touch control action, but I'll get accustomed to that. There is a charging light on the front of the case that comes on only when plugged in, which is good. The buds don't have any lights, which is probably ok - you can't see them when they are in your ears anyway. There is a reset button on the back of the charging case. I used it once because one of the buds was not playing sound when I first put them in but that didn't fix the problem. I think they weren't synced because I only tried one at first. I think I told my phone's Bluetooth to forget the buds and then re-paired and everything has been fine since. This kind of earbud case (as with the JBLs, too) make it difficult to extract the buds from the case. That is trus of these tt 80's also. I am not a huge fan of the chrome color (maybe because I am old?) But the good sound makes up for my lack of hipness. The case is sturdy with a nice magnetic click when I close the lid. Makes for a nice fidget thing in my pocket. The hinge appears to be aluminum similar to the hinge on the JBL 225's case. The JBL's had a more satisfying click in the hinge, but this TT case is close. These are NOT cheap $30 buds, but that is what I got them for on Walmart - probably a close-out. (My daughter bought cheap $20 buds at Walmart in-store and they are a disaster. Also, I can't stand having that rubber seal like the airpod pro. I'll always be a headphone or airpod classic kind-of-person. These TT 80's are just about perfect and the price is right.

Don't buy these. Cheap, poor quality, unreliable.

The sound is horrible. Sounds muffled, goes up and down, and has a distant static and robotic quality to the sound. The sound and mic will also completely cut out and i won't be able to hear the other person and they can't hear me. It's like they stay connected to the device but turn off or something.
