Easy to work with

The product flows really well, and was easy to work with. It was not too sticky when it first came out of the tube, which made it easy to work into tough spots and to clean up mistakes. When it sets up it seems to adhere well, and I have no leaks, so it appears to be working well. I applied it to the metal roof of a cargo trailer - where the galvanized top meets the aluminum sides. I scraped off the old caulk that was leaking and used a metal brush to prep the cracks before applying the new caulk.

Grey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works great and has a great color. When you are trying to do a nice professional job and have the end result come out looking great you don't want something like caulking stick or because of the color.

Versatile product, adheres well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Titebond WeatherMaster Metal Sealant gets the job done. We used it to seal around plumbing vent pipes on our roof, replacing older sealant that had started to separate. Make sure your area is clean of loose debris and dry before application to assure a good result. You may need to make more than one pass to be sure your gaps are completely filled. It's a little tricky to work with so if you are working in an area where your sealant seams will show, you may want to do a little practice making smooth lines of sealant first. In our case, it was on a roof, so pretty wasn't critical, just filling in gaps around the vent pipes. It sets up fast and the instructions say you can paint over it with a high-quality acrylic water based paint two hours after application. It is supposed to expand and contract with changes in temperature and not crack, which makes it ideal for our needs. And we were able to test the water seal right away since two days after we applied it we had a major rainstorm that dumped over 2 inches of rain in a half hour. Not a drop got through with all that rain, so the application was definitely a success.
