10.1 oz Titebond Metal Roof Sealant, White - Pack of 12

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a general contractor and use a number of Titebond products. I have several gutters that were leaking at the corner joint. I used this sealant inside the gutter to seal where the joints had separated a little. It was easy to use, not causing a goopy mess like some other products I have used in the past. It stuck well to the metal and was hard the next morning. I applied it when the outdoor temp was about 70 degrees and it adhered perfectly. Will definitely use this again!

We used it to seal around plumbing vent pipes on our roof, replacing older sealant that had started to separate. Make sure your area is clean of loose debris and dry before application to assure a good result. You may need to make more than one pass to be sure your gaps are completely filled. It's a little tricky to work with so if you are working in an area where your sealant seams will show, you may want to do a little practice making smooth lines of sealant first. In our case, it was on a roof, so pretty wasn't critical, just filling in gaps around the vent pipes. It sets up fast and the instructions say you can paint over it with a high-quality acrylic water based paint two hours after application. It is supposed to expand and contract with changes in temperature and not crack, which makes it ideal for our needs. And we were able to test the water seal right away since two days after we applied it we had a major rainstorm that dumped over 2 inches of rain in a half hour. Not a drop got through with all that rain, so the application was definitely a success.
