I mentioned the power aspect to it and it does have a vibrating feature that vibrates throughout your brushing experience (you have the controls to turn it on and off) and the battery for that - that is already in there for you and you NEVER have to adjust - lasts the life of the toothbrush, you simply throw away the $3.50 toothbrush at the end and move on to a new one.
