Each pump is manufactured from T6 aluminum and features an impeller with curved vanes for maximum flow, pressure and equal distribution to both sides of the block. It also features a unique seal assembly for leak proof operation. 3/4" shaft with 5/8" fan pilot snout. 1/2" NPT hole on passenger side (for heater hose) and on top (for bypass hose) Stamped steel rear plate. Extra thick fan hub. 3/4" ultra duty bearings. Adjustable cam stop. State of the art aluminum castings. Equal flow to both cylinder banks. Precision impeller. Higher flow rate and pressure rate. Weighs 6 lbs. Does not have a set screw retaining the fan hub. Approved for IMCA Southern Sport Modified class in 2023. Cools great
I chose this pump because it is a high flow racing type water pump but with a 5/8"" fan pilot which made it a direct replacement for my stock short water pump. Very simple cooling upgrade! Gaskets, pulley shims, and one 1/2"" NPT plug were included. I used the plug for the top port and installed a nipple in the side for my heater hose.

Aluminum SBC water pump.
The pump fit well. The top mounting boss had to be milled down 0.250"" to fit the A/C mounting bracket, but that was not the fault of the pump design or manufacture. The pump cools a hot 355 cu inch SBC just fine.

Double check the bolts
I installed this great looking light weight water pump and was very disappointed at first. All 6 bolts on the back cover were lose and the pump leaked. Had to remove everything thing, fan, pullys, antifreeze ect.was not happy. Check the bolts before you install.
