Keen Steens for Women

I received Keen Steens, but they are identical to the picture. I've hiked in them three times, so far, and they are really comfortable! Definitely waterproof, and sand-proof. No leakage whatsoever. I would say they are fairly non-skid, other than on algae and mossy covered surfaces. For the most part though, I felt pretty stable trudging through the rain-soaked woodland trails.

Immediately Comfortable

I purchased these boots for day hiking. There was no break-in period for me. They were comfortable immediately out of the box and onto the trails. I normally wear a size 9 in most shoes and the size 9 in these fit perfectly, even with thicker socks. I've been hiking a lot of leafy and rocky trails recently and the tread feels good. I feel secure where I'm not slipping on leaves and loose rocks. Keen never disappoints me with their quality. Overall, these are just great boots.
