I bought SystemBuild cabinets for my laundry room last year so I knew what I was getting. I bought 2 of these cabinets for my 6'x6' walk-in closet to store kitten supplies because I foster for my shelter and use this as a kitten room [yes it has a vent]. I wanted closeable doors due to litter dust and had to pull up carpet, so time for a total redo. The doors have a great soft-close feature, but as with my previous purchase - they tend to open hard (into walls). Assembly is pretty simple but a little time consuming. The only real issue I had was getting the backboards (cardboard) in correctly w/ no luck. I recommend a stud finder [Zircon @ Home Depot approx. $14]. You will also need a drill and a 3/16 bit. I plan to buy heavy duty closet rod brackets for underneath for rod and a little extra support, just in case. Also, maybe some cuter handles and I think I may take the middle doors/hinges off to have an easy access shelf and put some pretty pattern paper on the backboard. Another tip if you are hanging shelves alone: I left doors off until I got unit firmly on wall. Hinges sort of snap together and are not that hard to do after hanging. I got lucky with the doors being pretty much in line but have one that needs to be adjusted if I leave it on. All in all very happy! Looks way better than my old wire shelving! Can't beat the price, and I shopped around a lot. Good luck.

What a deal!

You won't find a sturdier, more attractive cabinet for the price. Trust me on this - I spent weeks looking. It requires assembly, but I was able to put it together and install it all by myself in about an hour - and I'm a blind grandmother. No kidding. (The trick to installing it on my own was not putting the doors on until after I had hung the cabinet on the wall.) Then it took another hour to properly align the adjustable hinges - easy work, but very persnickety. So for less than a hundred dollars and two hours' work, I have a beautiful new laundry cabinet. Before I bought this cabinet I was concerned that something this cheap might not be sturdy enough or big enough, but it is just as sturdy as the heavy plywood cabinet it replaces, and because the adjustable shelves are configured to waste no space, this actually holds more than the other larger cabinet. I was also able to hang it lower on the wall thereby freeing up space on top for even more storage. My advice is stop shopping around and buy - you won't find a better deal anywhere.
