Growing up in Uvalde TX. i wore khaki Dickies to catholic school. At the time I want all that excited but didn't realize how entrenched Dickies would become to me. I have been living in Dickies shorts and pants for as long as I can remember. Heck...my friends and i pretty much have grey Dickie shorts and a black t-shirt as our un-official Offical uniform(I got married this past summer in a pair of khaki shorts....). The 874's have been a staple as well but always seemed a bit "rough" for the first few months of a new pair but with these 874 Flex....Heck Yeah Dawg, you knocked this outta the park. I wouldn't trade these for a six pack and a F100 Unibody. Thank you again

Very comfortable

I have worn 874s every day for 20 years and in the summer they can be a little constructive. These new flex have an awesome soft waist band and seem to have a little more room. Initially ordered 2 pairs to try and after a week I ordered 5 more pairs. I can't speak for the colors because I only have khaki however I do plan on ordering black and grey.

Finally no white rollover edge!

I have worn dickies work pants for the past 12 years and they are great except since I've gotten "bigger" in the past 12 years the edge of the pants tend to rollover and the white edge is visible. They finally fixed this with the black edge flex pants. Also the flex material is so much more comfortable. I did notice that the fabric being more stretchy means the pants are looser. In the future I will be ordering one size smaller. Oh, and I wish they would move the tag to the lower end of the pocket. It's so long it sticks out at the top when you put them on.
