Too weak and overheats

I purchased this exact model to replace the drain pump in my GE washer however it lasted only one test cycle (without clothes) and it turns out the old drain pump was 1.8A and this new replacement is only 1.0A...big difference and can't handle the load...they need to have an exact replacement available!
