Schroeder's Greatest Hits

I first heard this CD when I stopped off at a friends house and she was playing it. This was back in 1994. She gave me a copy and I haven't played any CD in my collection more than this one. While deployed to Bosnia back in 1996, I worked in a tent at Taszar Air Base in Hungary, and I put this on one day. There were three of us in this big tent/office which was located next to two others. About 20 min later I looked up from my desk and noticed over twenty people sitting quietly all around the office, doing their paperwork, and listening quietly to this incredible CD. In a time of war, we all found a little peace in this simple piece of music. It is truly timeless.
