Dickies Carpenter shorts.

I have been wearing Dickies denim Carpenter Shorts for over 15 years. I was surprised to see the all cotton was no longer offered in my size but ordered the cotton/spandex just to see If they may work for me. I am wearing one of four pair as a trial and so far, I am not impressed. They are well made but have the feeling more like a dress pants. For me, they are too stretchy as my waist band puckers when i draw up my belt. Its really hard to tell if they are not true to size or if they are just too stretchy. The legs are not as long as their old 100% cotten pairs were. I will continue to wear this one pair to see if my opinion changes over time. Right now, I am on the fence as to whether I will return the other three pair. I like 100% cotten for my work clothes.
