An adaptation of the old-fashioned hook or ring tools, it has been configured to avoid clogging or snagging. The Swan Neck Tool is especially effective at hollowing the inside shoulders of the vessel. It works effectively on both side and end grain cuts through the full left to right range of 180 degrees.
