The grooves for resting the iPad in an open position are shallow so the iPad keeps slipping flat. This case has a nice look and is well made and affordable but it's frustration to try and keep my iPad in place. To be fair, the iPad stays in place when sitting on a flat surface but many times my iPad is sitting on my lap and thats when the slightest movement causes it to slip flat because of the shallow grooves. So, I would not recommend this case for people who use their iPad on their lap a lot. If the resting grooves were deeper this case would be perfect!
